Blogging has been fruitful for me. I’ve been able to make money online for quite some time now. I am happy with my achievements thus far. But I’ve been wanting to take this further in terms of what I do in the online world. I’ve been doing some learning on StudioPress Child theme designing. I’ve been able to come up with a child theme that I am giving away for free to the reader of GenuineSEO.
This theme is dedicated to my loving sister who is such a great inspiration and a love to work with. She currently blogs at theapptimes – a how to technology blog covering web apps, and tools that can improve productivity in your day to day work. Everything from a simple tutorial to a complex one can be be found here. I’ve decided to name my theme At33, strange name for a theme, you might think, but think again. Its a theme.
I’ve been learning and testing and trying different things to make sure that my development skills are good enough to build a child theme and let me tell you I am happy with the results. I will be launching this theme on the 31st of August. I’d love to hear your views, reviews and promotion of the post so that all genesis users can download and use the theme for free.
Yesterday, I published a post Child Theme Customization For The App Times, this is one of my first Genesis Child Theme Customization. The requirements were a bit challenging, especially the part to bring in Google fonts into the admin panel. With all that said, I was able to accomplish the task successfully.
I also looking to get some support by means of donation from users, not sure if its a good option though. I’ve also decided to offer StudioPress child theme customization services to anyone who needs them. The services start from $10 and goes on upwards based on the customization that you are requesting. Please check out the soon to be available service page. Also please drop me an email if you need help. Thanks for reading.
