I started this blog only a few months ago, I used to blog at eddiegear.com until it was hacked and I had to move all my posts here. I’ve been able to make steady progress in terms of establishing a good rapport with bloggers and producing quality and useful content to my reader. Since my blog was hacked, I felt it was best that I improve my blog’s security, so I decided to go with the powerful genesis framework and a few plugins to make things even harder for hackers.
I am taking this time to reflect on some personal achievements and goals. You as a reader are the key to my success.
Achievements
- Four years of blogging and internet marketing has landed me a job as a Social Media Analyst for one the of worlds largest technology company – Hewlett-Packard. (Please note that this blog in no way reflects my association with Hewlett-Packard nor is influenced by it. Everything on this blog is my personal openion and mine alone.)
- Sold my first BuySellAds slot within one week of approval.
- Building relationship with some top bloggers and good people like Bryce, Christian, Rebecca and many more.
- Win over readers to beomce regular commenters and readers of my blog
- Successfully released a Free Genesis Theme( Which is receiving very good attention and I’ve also received some good feedback from several readers who downloaded it) PASTE the Comment here
- Write 100 posts on my blog
- Developed an outstanding Genesis Child theme for my blog GenuineSEO called MaxCon a maximum convertion theme.
Big Goals
- Buy a House – $25000.00 in three years
- New Laptop – $600.00 (need to keep my blogging going)

Jens, Thanks for your wishes. Yes, I do have short term goals. However, they are very specific, in terms of keyword ranking, driving web traffic, networking. Now that I am into social media analytic, I will soon start working on some metric dashboard to keep track of what i am doing and how well I am performing.
