In these days of digital media and all associated therewith, it is easy to make grandiose claims and spread them around the world in milliseconds; however at the end of the day, if you talk the talk, you still have to walk the walk. How refreshing it is then to see a company making ambitious claims and actually backing them up.
The blurb on the Marimedia website claims that it is a leading international digital ad network with thousands of publishers and advertisers delivering billions of impressions each month that maximizes revenue for both advertisers and publishers by finding the best possible fit between top-performing advertisers and targeted, reputable publishers.
Furthermore, they assert the capability to buy and sell traffic at optimal levels and manage profitable marketing campaigns for their partners resulting in the ability to reach target audiences on a large scale all over the world, improving their conversion potential, and accurately reaching their target audiences.
In short, the David’s from Marimedia have decided to take a crack at the Goliaths from Google AdSense. So, how do they compete?
My personal experience has confirmed that Marimedia’s claims are not exaggerated. For starters, their affiliate managers are professional, easygoing and knowledgeable. It is always a pleasure to deal with people and not just talking heads. Most importantly though, they know their stuff.
I used Marimedia to help optimize my blog revenues. Their advice re targeted keywords resulted in a discernible lift in revenue by attracting more clicks to their targeted advertisers. Their feedback in tracking traffic performance was timely and accurate. Payments were prompt and communication excellent. Marimedia’s claim to have grown 500% in both revenue and personnel in 2011 does not surprise me.
According to their website, Marimedia is a classic start-up story. Founded in 2007 by two friends, it has established a niche for itself in the digital advertising market. Marimedia claims to have over 12 billion page impressions per month, over 5,000 publisher websites, over 1,000 advertising partners, have over 1.2 million monthly conversions, and a significant presence in over 40 countries – pretty impressive for a five year old company.
Once again, it’s easy to talk big but the guys at Marimedia also seem to talk straight. See also their Slideshare for media info @ http://www.slideshare.net/marimedialtd/marimedia-media-kit-2012-11918780
