Actually Reese, there is standard that Google expects. I agree with you that we need to keep in mind the readers and search engines. Keeping both of them happy is the key to your blogs success.

All great tips. With article length I would like to add that there really isn’t a standard. It depends on the article you are writing. Some articles require exhaustive analysis so should be long, others should do fine at with 200-500 words. If you make it too long, people will get bored reading. SEO should be couple with good quality content. Otherwise, the efforts are just a waste.

Hi Eddie, over the last two years I have been rather ignorant to SEO and what I mean by that is I haven’t done anything special with regards to SEO keyword researching or anything. But that all changes this year as I have been focusing more with regards to picking my keywords to help me rank for my RSS Services. Thanks so much for the great questions I’m sure they will benefit me tons!
